Daddy Put Together Our New Swing Set!

Yesterday was so much fun! Daddy, under the supervision of Trey of course, put together our new swing set from Santa. Trey is absolutely loving it!

Running around while Daddy works on the frame.

Daddy's little helper!

Rockin' his Brobee gear!

The "Stop taking pictures!" look

Giving Mommy a little love too!

Kissing up to Daddy.

Proof they did read the directions from time to time.

It's done! Time for fun!

Thanks Daddy!!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Trey being old enough, 17 months, to understand more this year has made this a wonderful Holiday Season! I did not take a ton of photos this year but we do have a lot of video. I just need to figure out how to convert MTS files over to AVI.

After a bath and slipping into our jammies Daddy and Trey took over the sugar cookies for Mommy. Brandon was having a VERY active evening but that was not about to stop us from making cookies for Santa. No way!

Our Trey Safe Christmas Trey (AKA no breakables or anything else within Trey's reach)was all ready! He must have been a very good boy this year.

The aftermath! Trey is a fantastic supervisor just ask his Daddy.

Excuse this wall, Daddy's gift arrived a bit early and is setup very temporarily.

Putting up the train!

Monday night Trey and Warren put the train under the tree. They are so cute!!

First, he needed to take a peep break.

What's this?

Trey wasn't too sure about the train once it started moving and making noise but he is more than happy to watch from his Daddy's lap or a safe distance.

I have a ton of video but I have to figure out this camcorder and how to convert it's videos over to a web friendly format.

33 weeks!

We had a bit of a scare this past Sunday and Monday but he's staying cozy for a bit longer. Thank goodness! We had an ultrasound Monday and I got to see those chubby little cheeks. I can not get over how much his profile looks like Trey's but it looks like he may have his Daddy's nose. It does seem Brandon has decided to suddenly float to the top of my uterus and sit footling breech. His head was engaging several weeks early and now he has decided to flip the wrong way?! Silly boy.

Here is a some info. We are currently trying tilts and will begin light/music this weekend. Our next steps will be discussed at my next visit in two weeks. I'm not too worried as only 3% stay breech, we still have plenty of time and I have faith in my Doctor. It is just weird having a baby sit above my belly button! Trey sat very low and sideways before turning to vertex presentation. Brandon has sat fairly low until now but is much more active than Trey.

Now here is what everyone has been waiting for!

He is currently 4.5lbs and they are guessing he will be smaller at birth than my moose. The current guess is 7.5lbs at delivery. I'll take it!

A little more cuteness from Daddy's office last night.

Yes, he is sitting on his brother!

Sesame Street Live!

Trey and Daddy are going to their first Sesame Street Live show!

I can talk about this because I was so excited that I gave Warren the tickets already. I am horrible when it comes to keeping secrets from Warren and waiting another 2 weeks was not about to happen.

A friend mentioned the other day that Sesame Street Live was coming to town and the timing couldn't be better. Trey LOVES that little red monster and with Brandon's arrival just around the corner I knew they would enjoy having a special "Big Guy" day. Can you believe my little man is moving up to Big Guy status? Secretly, Mommy is going to enjoy having a day of cuddling and napping with her littlest guy. I am bummed to miss Trey's first live show but Daddy and Trey deserve this special time together. I hope they take lots of pictures! Elmo live and they have center stage seats! I think I may be more excited than the boys.

32 Weeks!

With my OB being out of town I saw one of his partners on Friday. It ended up working out so Warren and Trey could come with me! Yay! Trey was such a good boy and as always sucked up the attention. I haven't seen Dr. Harris since I was pregnant with Trey and he had nothing but compliments for our little man. I have to say I love this partner and if my own doctor is unable to make it I would feel just as comfortable in his hands. He looked over my chart and we talked a bit about my BORDERLINE blood pressure along with the increase in contractions. My blood pressure was much worse with Trey and was totally pregnancy related. This time I think it's just all the stress around me. We have had a lot on our plate this year but who hasn't. After explaining the short of it he was totally comfortable with my blood pressure for now.

After my exam he was also comfortable with my increased contractions. There are no signs of dilation or effacement! It's really not a surprise to me but he has to make sure. With Trey I was 30% effaced and 2 cm dilated when I was induced at 39 weeks. I had been for 2 weeks at that point and it seemed the only change during those 2 weeks was gaining 1 cm in dilation.

Brandon has definitely hit a growth spurt and measuring a whole week ahead. We should know more at my next appointment. Daddy loved hearing his little boy's rapid heartbeat. His heartbeat is usually pretty fast from all those flips and kicks. Speaking of which, he has not slowed down despite the fact his living quarters are shrinking around him.

How exciting! And we go back to see the doctor next week. I have one more two week appt. after that and then the weekly visits begin. The big day is just around the corner! :)

As for Trey, he doing fantastic and finally beginning to talk to people besides Warren and I. His favorite game lately is picking up his toys and throwing things out. If it looks like something he has seen thrown away, he will throw it away. Luckily, he hasn't thrown anything important away...yet.

Warren and I can not wait for Christmas this year. Trey is finally old enough to some what understand and he loves tearing open presents. I do know Warren will spend either Christmas Eve or Christmas morning putting up a swing set! Grandma Joanie sent us a great a train for the boys to put under the tree. It's the Lionel Polar Express, Warren and Trey have been waiting to dig into the box. It will have to wait till Christmas eve this year since a certain little man loves to play with cars and we do not want him to break it.

This weekend is going to be crazy! Thursday night we are visiting Santa's village over by Warren's work. Saturday we are hoping to do maternity portraits with Trey and then the local Christmas Parade Saturday night. Sunday is Christie and Steve's baby shower. All this while trying to bake holiday goodies and sort baby stuff. No wonder I am exhausted come Mondays.

Triangular Markers

The other day I bought Trey a set of Crayola Beginnings - Washable Triangular Markers at Target. Trey loves using crayons but is a bit rough on them so I decided to give these markers a try. Let me just say they are awesome!! Trey also likes the TaDoodles but tends to play more than draw when using them. The first time he used the Triangular Markers he covered the paper and loved every minute of it. The shape and thickness makes them very easy for little hands to hold. We both give these markers two thumbs up!
